The challenge
The HR function’s dependence on manual spreadsheets to manage and evaluate employees, as well as disparate departments working in siloes created challenges in easily accessing workforce information.
Not only did it take time for the client to collate HR operation details from multiple spreadsheets, the client also wasn’t able to analyze their HR data in real-time with clear visualizations of the statistics. To avoid unauthorized access to sensitive information or compromise existing security controls, the client did not want to rely on external help or extra resources to develop the required intelligence and rather preferred to conduct the deep-dives themselves. There was also a need to streamline HR processes to ensure improved collaboration, eliminate manual dependencies, get an overarching view of HR data across an employee’s lifecycle.
