The challenge
The client’s existing SAP Extended Warehouse Management platform was used to accelerate high-volume repository tasks, but needed many gaps to be addressed on priority.
A high degree of inventory variations ranging from retail goods, pharmaceuticals, to petroleum products and defense supplies needed a holistic oversight on its extended warehouses network, located at disparate airports. The client required an efficient tracking, handling and storage of continuous mining outputs in specific geographies, systematic monitoring the specialized safety requirements concerning the storage of dangerous goods (DG), as well as complete inventory visibility of the critical tactical supplies required by the ADF. The client also needed its unique warehousing strategies to conform to its customers’ business models as well as the stringent regulatory complexities associated with international trade and business sustainability.
