The client is a prominent education trust with 25+ institutions and present in virtually every academic field across all ages

The challenge

With data of more than 25 institutions, 15,000 students and 1,800 teaching & administrative staff scattered across locations, the client was looking to create a lean and robust centralized IT landscape.

With a constellation of siloed and ageing applications and databases, the client faced frequent process delays, data inaccuracies and security risks for the administration. The ageing systems were already becoming a pain point for the faculty who were struggling to adequately manage processes from admission to alumni, course management, grading students, managing financials and more.

The solution

YASH analyzed the pros and cons, return on investments (ROI) and made a cost-benefit analysis for each of the solutions, and identified SAP S/4HANA as the right fit for the client. SAP’s Student Lifecycle Management was leveraged to empower proactive student learning, while SAP SuccessFactors was used to ensure compliance and an effective working staff. The team also identified AWS Cloud as the ideal ‘pay-as-you-go’ hosting service for the client, as it would help provide flexibility when additional resources were requested. Finally, team YASH also implemented AWS Educate, where students and educators alike can access AWS technology, courses, training and collaboration, all with due certifications from Amazon.
