The solution
Team YASH with company stakeholders, arrived at a customized and highly scalable solution to establish an efficient Digital Data Registry (DDR). YASH secured registry access to a broad range of downstream operations to deliver reliable and predictive insights facilitating collaborative drug development. Using AWS services, an agile Digital Health Data platform was built that captured, stored and analyzed data regarding physiological patterns such as heart rate, physical movement and migraines of the participating patients. AWS services such as Cognito allowed for easy onboarding and secured authentication of the wearable devices with Kinesis Data Streams used to ingest data from them in real-time. Other layers such as Amazon Elasticsearch, data lakes (for batch processing) in S3, AWS Glue provided visualization on the client side and metadata management. Customized dashboards using Amazon Relational Databases, QuickSight and Athena for query running helped study managers in decision making. A separate UI was built to address consumers’ demands for data access.
