Building middleware development for bidirectional communication
Headquartered in the USA, the client is one of the leading PPE shipping, Importing, LTL, FTL, and specialized equipment organizations.
The challenge
The client faced hurdles with its existing custom build application’s limitation of 1-way communication to the driver. It aimed to modernize its existing platform since driver acknowledgment & work status updates were a major concern.
The client wanted to replace its electronic login device and form a connected vehicle embedded middleware application. Additionally, it also wanted to avoid on-field tricky situations and communication complexity for material pick-up and delivery process.
Our approach
YASH Technologies team deployed its expertise to select desired communication services for specific requirements such as Azure IoT HUB, along with working on field application registration on the platform to establish a bidirectional communication of truck driver and platform services. The team also built a seamless communication establishment between US express services and field devices with windows servers such as IBM power 9. We also improved the emergency communication development with auto feedback on mobile devices.
Focus on bidirectional communication with a centralized logistics system
With YASH Technologies’ focus on client success, we leveraged technology and flexible business models to drive innovation and value throughout the enterprise. We successfully implemented easy user registration for new truck driver’s applications and communication to the remote platform. The client was now able to view large amount of fleet on one page with more insights & bidirectional communication along with smart communication to truck drivers and current activity with status.
